H. Mack & Company rebranded their salon in 2021, and wanted a sophisticated website to match their new brand. X Factor replaced the old site with a fresh redesign that was more appropriate for their upscale brand and clientele.
The legacy website was built by another web agency using a site template and architecture that didn’t suit H. Mack’s business and brand. When X Factor redesigned the site, we simplified the navigation structure, combined pages to provide a more streamlined experience for users, and optimized load times and mobile performance significantly.
The legacy site had no option to book appointments in-page, and instead directed users to a third-party site. X Factor’s redesign integrated client booking directly into the new site, without requiring H. Mack to migrate to a different booking system.
Previously, H. Mack’s clients needed to sign consent forms on a third-party website. We set out to find an easier way of tracking which clients had signed consent forms. Specifically, we integrated JotForms directly into the redesign and trained staff on how to use the new system.
